Senior SITS Developer | £55k - £68k | Remote
We're partnering with a university who are ambitious and working on exciting projects. You’ll be joining a small, collaborative team of SITS, Salesforce, and integration specialists with a genuine appetite for cross-skilling and modernising processes.
Why This Role Is Exceptional for a SITS Developer?
Most SITS roles fall into one of two categories:
- BAU-heavy, little influence, repetitive support work
- Project-heavy but siloed with little say in system direction
This role is neither.
Title: Senior SITS Developer
Duration: Permanent
Location: Fully Remote
Salary: £55,000 - £67,000 - depending on experience
Benefits: Pension, 30 days + Uni Closure days + bank holidays, and more.
At this organisation, you will:
1. Own two of the rarest, most career-accelerating parts of SITS
Very few universities use StuTalk in a meaningful way, and even fewer have complex SAM integrations.
This is a chance to become one of the UK’s go-to experts in these areas, the type of experience that allows SITS Developers to accelerate their careers.
2. Work beyond SITS, genuinely broaden your enterprise systems skillset
You won’t be boxed into SITS.
You'll work side-by-side with specialists in:
- Salesforce
- C# and Azure Integration
- Power Platform (Power Apps / Automate) - less utilised
For a SITS developer, this is rare. It future-proofs your career in case you ever want to pivot beyond the SITS market in the future.
Essential Skills
- Demonstrable experience as a SITS Developer: SRLs, Tasks, Vistas, Workflows, Rulesets
- Skills around Stutalk integration
- HTML, CSS, Java script, SQL etc
- Strong communicator: able to explain technical issues clearly to non-technical stakeholders
- Confident working directly with business areas, including BAs and SMEs to translate requirements into SITS configurations
Desirable skills
- Experience with finance systems
- Experience with SITS SAM
- Exposure to student finance integrations or data feeds
You will have plenty of opportunity to influence the roadmap, not just deliver what you’re told. Because the role sits in the intersection of business analysis and dev work.
New systems, new thinking, and a strong push to modernise. You will step into a role where your expertise is valued, your influence is real, and your work genuinely shapes the future of the university’s student systems.
