We have partnered with a startup who are transforming the way businesses handle and resolve commercial disputes — making the process faster, smarter, and far less costly. Their AI-driven platform helps companies identify and address issues before they escalate into expensive, disruptive, or reputational challenges.

The company is post-revenue, seeing strong demand from global enterprises, and rapidly scaling across industries including manufacturing, telecommunications, aerospace, and financial services. This is a rare opportunity to help shape the future of a trillion-dollar market from the ground up.

The Team & How You’ll Work
You’ll work directly with the CTO and collaborate daily with product, design, and AI engineering.

  • ~60% hands-on feature delivery

  • ~20% architecture & technical design

  • ~20% mentoring & process improvement

They run a continuous Kanban flow: work is pulled as capacity frees up - they move quickly but also dedicate time each week to refactoring and keeping technical debt low.

What You’ll Do

  • Build end-to-end features with React, Next.js and Node.js (TypeScript) — from data layer to UI.

  • Design and evolve a cloud-native AWS stack (Lambda, DynamoDB, AppSync, S3, CloudFront).

  • Maintain a healthy codebase with unit (Jest/Vitest) and e2e (Cypress) testing.

  • Guide architectural decisions, review code, and mentor mid-level engineers.

You Might Be a Fit If You Have

  • Deep expertise with TypeScript across browser and server environments.

  • Hands-on production experience with React and Next.js (SSR, SSG, route handlers, edge functions).

  • Strong system design skills around security, performance, and scalability (especially B2B).

  • A strong testing discipline (Jest, Vitest, Cypress).

  • The ability to balance speed and quality — shipping fast without compromising long-term maintainability.

Nice-to-Haves

  • AWS serverless experience.

  • GraphQL knowledge (Apollo, tRPC, etc.).

  • Familiarity with compliance or governance requirements in enterprise software.

What they Offer

  • Competitive salary (£90k–100k).

  • 25 days holiday, all UK bank holidays, plus your birthday off.

  • Remote-first with flexible working (core hours 9–6 UK time).

  • The chance to work closely with leadership, influence the roadmap, and shape product and engineering culture.

  • Be part of something ambitious in a fast-scaling environment with plenty of growth opportunities.
