Senior Full Stack Engineer (TypeScript, React & AWS)
6-Month Contract | Inside IR35 | £500–£650/day (DOE)
Hybrid – 2 days per week in London
We’re working with a leading name in the news & media industry who are building a brand-new engineering team and looking for an experienced Senior Full Stack Engineer to join on a 6-month contract.
This is a chance to make a real impact from day one — shaping the direction of a newly formed team, working with modern tech, and contributing to products used by millions.
What you’ll be doing

Designing, building, and scaling applications across the full stack

Working with TypeScript and React on the front end to create engaging, high-performance user experiences

Building serverless and cloud-native services with AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, etc.)

Collaborating closely with engineers, designers, and product teams in an agile environment

Helping shape engineering best practices and setting standards within the new team
What we’re looking for

Proven experience as a Senior Full Stack Engineer

Strong expertise with TypeScript (front-end & back-end)

Commercial experience with React (hooks, state management, performance optimisation)

Solid hands-on knowledge of AWS services and architecture

A passion for building scalable, reliable, and well-tested software

Someone who thrives in a collaborative, fast-moving environment and enjoys working in new teams
