We’re looking for a Solutions Architect / Engineer with deep domain expertise in smart ticketing — including ITSO, OnBus, EMV, and QR Code technologies — to help shape the future of transport across the region.
Role Overview
As a key member of our technical team, you’ll lead the design and delivery of smart ticketing solutions in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment. This role offers the opportunity to grow your architecture skills while making a tangible impact on how people travel.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and implement smart ticketing solutions across diverse transport networks.
- Collaborate with clients, partners, and internal teams to translate business needs into scalable technical designs.
- Provide technical leadership across projects involving ITSO, OnBus, EMV contactless, and QR-based ticketing.
- Mentor and support a small team of engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture.
- Ensure solutions meet industry standards for scalability, security, and interoperability.
- Work onsite two days per week, with flexibility to work remotely.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in smart ticketing systems.
- Hands-on expertise with ITSO, OnBus, EMV, and QR Code technologies.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills — able to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience leading or managing a small technical team.
- Ability to simplify complex technical challenges into actionable solutions and documentation.
- A proactive, collaborative, and delivery-focused mindset.
Desirable
- Experience in the transport sector (e.g. bus, rail, metro).
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
