Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end architecture and design of complex, scalable Salesforce solutions aligned to business objectives and technical requirements.
  • Design multi-cloud implementations across Sales, Service, Loyalty, Marketing, Commerce and Data Cloud, ensuring seamless connectivity.
  • Provide technical leadership: mentor engineers, conduct code reviews, and enforce best practices, patterns and coding standards.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical specifications and solution blueprints.
  • Architect integrations with enterprise systems (ERP, databases, cloud services) using REST/SOAP APIs and middleware (e.g., MuleSoft, Boomi).
  • Drive performance, scalability and maintainability through sound data modelling, governor limit management, and performance tuning.
  • Identify delivery and architectural risks early and propose pragmatic mitigation plans.
  • Create high-quality documentation: architecture diagrams, technical designs, integration workflows and operational runbooks.
  • Stay current with Salesforce releases and recommend innovations for continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Experience: 10+ years in Salesforce delivery, including architecture in consulting environments.
  • Hands-on experience designing high-performance solutions using Sales, Service, Field Service, Marketing and Data Cloud.
  • Strong integration expertise with external systems using REST/SOAP, integration patterns, and middleware platforms.
  • Hands-on development and configuration skills: Lightning Web Components (LWC), Apex, Visualforce, Flows, security model and automation.
  • Deep understanding of data modelling, sharing, performance optimisation, testing strategy and deployment approaches.
  • Excellent client-facing communication, able to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
