Gravitas is working with an international finance company, based in London, that is looking to bring on an experienced Principal Software Engineer
This is an individual contributor position, and the successful candidate will need to be a hands-on, technical leader with knowledge and understanding of innovation in large-scale data processing systems.

Gravitas is working with an international finance company, based in London, that is looking to bring on an experienced Principal Software Engineer
This is an individual contributor position, and the successful candidate will need to be a hands-on, technical leader with knowledge and understanding of innovation in large-scale data processing systems.
You will need
- Significant hands-on experience in backend development, designing, building and supporting distributed systems and large-scale data processing systems in production with a proven track record.
- Experience and knowledge of automation and CI/CD
- Focus on either Python, Java, or Go,
- Kafka
- Advanced knowledge of containers (Docker, Kubernetes) and experience with cloud platforms such as GCP, Azure, or AWS
What you’ll get:
- Salary: £100,000 to £118,000
- Location- London onsite 2 days a week (essential)
- A generous pension contribution of up to 15%.
- annual bonus (subject to Group performance).
- 30 days’ holiday, with bank holidays on top.
