A leading specialty insurer is seeking an experienced contractor to join their Group Exposure Management team, supporting strategic risk initiatives across a diverse global portfolio. This is a high-impact role with visibility at the highest levels of decision-making, offering the chance to shape how risk is understood and managed across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and refine Realistic Disaster Scenarios (RDS) across natural and man-made perils including terrorism, flood, casualty, and climate litigation.
• Lead the annual retail property roll-up process, collaborating with brokers and business units.
• Identify and propose new Nat Cat scenarios using global exposure data.
• Support capital model stress testing and regulatory reporting.

Ideal Candidate:

• Experience in catastrophe modelling or exposure management.
• Proven experience designing RDS frameworks.
• Strong analytical mindset with coding aptitude (SQL, R, Python – not essential).
• Excellent communication and report writing skills.
• Organised and deadline-driven.
