Principal Product designer is required to join a B2B technology company who are in a really exciting stage in their growth. This is a brand new role within the company and the first principal they will be hiring into their existing design function so a really good opportunity to really go in and make a real impact.

The company have built a complex platform which is used by large established companied to power end-to-end processes their customers. This role will work across the platform and in particular within the operations space and be the standard bearer for design process and development of complex new projects. For this role they are really looking for someone with a service design mentality and someone who can work with complex data. Someone who has worked on products/platforms for and internal teams or something similar would be ideal for this role.

The position can pay up to £100,000 per annum with 30 days holidays (not including bank holidays), private medical cover amongst other benefits. The position requires two days a week in the London office.

Skills required:

  • Experience across UX and UI with a stronger lean towards UX
  • Experience working on B2B SaaS products
  • Able to work with complex business rules and processes, helping others understand them and weave them into usable solutions
  • Problem solving focus over visual beauty
  • Experience working on products which are used by operations teams /operations tools or internal teams
  • Be able to mentor more junior members of the team and set the standard for design best practice
  • Experience with complex, ambiguous spaces that are regulated would beneficial but not essential (healthcare, finance, procurement etc)
