IT Auditor

Our client is a forward-thinking organization committed to fostering a dynamic and innovative work environment. They are seeking an experienced IT Auditor to support upcoming investment and transaction-focused reviews. This role involves quickly understanding a company's technology landscape, identifying key risks, and translating findings into clear, actionable insights. You will review various IT environments, engage with senior stakeholders, and help the deal teams make informed decisions, contributing to the organization’s growth and strategic initiatives.

Role Overview:
The IT Auditor will play a critical role in assessing the technology readiness of organizations during transaction processes, ensuring risks are identified and communicated effectively to support strategic decision-making.

Key Skills & Experience:
• Strong background in senior IT leadership (e.g., CIO, IT Director) with operational understanding
• Practical experience delivering IT due diligence or similar technology assessments for acquisitions or investments
• Ability to review and comment on infrastructure, security, governance, strategy, and IT maturity
• Familiarity with recognised IT standards or frameworks such as ISO, ITIL, and COBIT
• Confident in producing structured findings, highlighting risks, and presenting outcomes clearly to non-technical stakeholders
• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, deal-driven environment

Key Responsibilities:
• Review a variety of IT environments and infrastructure components
• Engage with senior stakeholders to gather insights and clarify technology setups
• Identify and assess risks related to security, infrastructure, governance, and strategy
• Summarize findings clearly to support decision-making for deal teams
• Contribute to the evaluation of post-deal technology plans where relevant

Requirements:
• Right to work in the UK
• Proven experience in senior IT leadership roles or similar operational positions
• Experience delivering IT due diligence or technology assessments in an investment or acquisition context
• Ability to work remotely with flexible working hours
• Availability to start from 19/03/2026
