This is a hybrid role based in Accrington, Lancashire, United Kingdom. The salary for this position is £45,000 - £55,000 per year. The successful candidate will play a key part in identifying operational inefficiencies and driving sustainable change across the business, using a combination of analytical insights and collaborative engagement. Working closely with cross-functional teams, they will be responsible for implementing improvements that enhance both process efficiency and customer experience.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Championing lean and agile methodologies, lean practices, and lean problem-solving techniques to embed a culture of continuous improvement organisation-wide.
  • Fostering a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging staff to identify inefficiencies and propose innovative solutions.
  • Developing and maintaining excellent working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to support ongoing business improvement initiatives and activities.
  • Designing and implementing scalable Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and process maps to encourage standardisation and operational efficiency.
  • Working closely with IT and development teams to ensure the effective implementation of system changes and enhancements.
  • Analysing end-to-end operational processes to uncover inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and opportunities for optimisation.
  • Monitoring and assessing the performance of business improvement initiatives, identifying issues, and ensuring timely resolution.
  • Scoping, implementing, and executing programmes in close collaboration with operational functions to lead change and improve customer experience.
  • Leading postmortems and root cause analysis for operational issues and ensuring that corrective actions are tracked and executed properly.
  • Staying up-to-date with in-house systems and processes to maintain relevance and drive improvements based on current capabilities.
  • Taking ownership of personal learning and development by recognising and embracing all opportunities for growth and professional enhancement.

This role requires a proactive and detail-oriented individual with a strong analytical mindset and excellent communication skills. Previous experience in operational improvement, process mapping, and stakeholder engagement will be essential to succeed in this position.
