We are seeking an experienced MIS Active H Consultant to support a key project in the Social Housing sector. This is a remote-based position on a 6-month+ contract basis, with a day rate of £450 and the opportunity to work up to five days per week. The role is suited to a highly skilled professional with a strong background in social housing systems, specialising in Active H implementation, configuration, and optimisation.
The successful candidate will play a critical role in the development and enhancement of the organisation’s housing management systems, ensuring the effective utilisation of the Active H platform. You will collaborate with internal teams to gather requirements, execute system upgrades and provide insights for business process improvements. This position requires a deep understanding of the social housing domain, excellent technical abilities in Active H, and a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions that align with business needs.
Key responsibilities include configuring and customising Active H modules, providing expert advice on best practices, resolving system-related issues, supporting data migration and integration tasks, and training staff in the effective use of the system. The role may also involve liaising with third-party suppliers and participating in UAT and Go-Live support phases.
To be successful in this role, you must have proven experience working with MIS Active H within a social housing environment. A strong understanding of housing processes such as repairs, rents, tenancy management, and asset management is essential. Experience in delivering end-to-end system implementation projects, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels are critical to this role.
The ideal candidate will have a background in IT, Business Analysis, or Housing Systems, with a strong track record of delivering system improvements. Familiarity with project management methodologies and data handling standards (including GDPR compliance) is advantageous. Excellent organisational skills and an ability to manage work independently are essential, as this is a fully remote opportunity.
