We are seeking an NEC Subject Matter Expert (SME) within the Housing Sector to work closely with the business to define, shape and produce high-quality technical documentation for the system. You will play a pivotal role in enabling effective use of the platform through structured training, clear guidance and hands-on support for change.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with stakeholders to define and produce technical documentation for the system, ensuring accuracy, clarity and consistency.
- Develop training materials and lead training sessions with the team, tailored to user roles and operational needs.
- Support future-proofing of the system, ensuring platform upgrades can proceed smoothly and without delay.
- Assist with technical changes and configuration requirements as they arise, advising on best practice and impact.
- Provide SME input to improve processes, adoption, and overall system effectiveness across housing services.
Essential Requirements
- Strong NEC experience is essential, with the ability to hit the ground running with minimal reliance on an at-capacity team.
- Proven experience producing technical documentation (e.g., user guides, process flows, configuration notes, release notes).
- Demonstrable training delivery experience, including creation of training content and facilitation of sessions.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, translating technical detail into practical guidance.
- Experience working in, or closely with, housing sector operations and associated workflows.
Desirable Skills
- Experience supporting system upgrades and release management, including validation and user readiness.
- Understanding of configuration management, change control, and service improvement practices.
- Ability to analyse issues, document solutions, and recommend enhancements.

- Salary/Rate: £450+ (per day, dependent on experience)
