Overview

We are seeking a Digital Learning specialist to support the end-to-end implementation of a new Learning Management System (LMS), working closely with an external supplier and internal teams. The role will support the LMS implementation from start to finish, including key stages such as requirements, configuration and set up, data and content migration from the current system, workflow design, testing (including UAT), issue resolution, and training.

Alongside the LMS implementation work, you will create, curate and publish digital learning content. Content may be created in house using Articulate (primary tool), Vyond and Microsoft 365 applications, as well as curated and sourced from reputable external providers where appropriate. All learning materials must be fully accessible and meet recognised accessibility standards; evidence of previously meeting robust accessibility standards would also be hugely desirable.

  • Location: Remote
  • Rate: £225-240 per day DOE
  • Status: Outside IR35
  • Start Date: Early April
  • Contract Length: 6 months
  • Working Pattern: 3-4 Days per week (maximum 17 Days per month)

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate LMS implementation activities across requirements gathering, configuration, set-up and delivery milestones (this person doesn't need to be particularly technical, the supplier will shoulder most of the technical heavy lifting).
  • Support data and content migration, including auditing, mapping, clean-up and validation.
  • Design workflows and user journeys (learner, manager, administrator), ensuring usability and accessibility.
  • Design and develop engaging, accessible digital learning content using Articulate, with supporting assets created in Vyond and Microsoft 365.

Essential Requirements

  • Strong stakeholder management skills, able to work confidently across technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proactive, self-starter personality with excellent organisation and delivery focus.
  • Strong experience planning, structuring and designing engaging and accessible learning content.
  • Experience supporting a prior LMS implementation project.
  • CIPD (or equivalent) learning qualifications.
  • Extensive experience working with authoring tools such as Articulate.
  • Evidence of prior learning campaigns you have led end-to-end (from planning through to launch and evaluation).
  • Working knowledge of accessibility standards and best practice for digital learning content.

Desirable

  • Experience working in the charity / not for profit sector.
  • Experience creating short-form video or animations (e.g., Vyond).
  • Experience implementing and familiarity using Docebo.
