Digital Delivery Director

Our client is a organisation dedicated to pioneering digital transformation and delivering innovative technology solutions. This role offers a unique opportunity to lead a complex, business-critical programme, guiding a major digital platform from build to operational launch. Role Overview:
The Digital Delivery Director will take ownership of a high-profile digital transformation programme, ensuring successful delivery and seamless transition into operational support. You will coordinate across multiple stakeholder groups, navigate a politically sensitive environment, and drive delivery strategies that align with business objectives.

Key Skills & Experience:
• Proven track record leading end-to-end digital or technology delivery programmes
• Extensive experience operating within politically complex, stakeholder-heavy environments
• Ability to build credibility with boards, executives, and delivery teams
• Strong judgement and decision-making capabilities in high-scrutiny environments
• Skilled in strategy, delivery, operational readiness, and business change
• Excellent communication, influencing, and conflict-resolution skills

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the delivery of a major digital transformation programme through to launch
• Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders and coordinate across a complex partner landscape
• Support decision-making by clearly articulating risks, priorities, and trade-offs
• Strengthen governance, delivery controls, and cross-functional collaboration
• Work with engineering, product, and operational teams to ensure plans are realistic and release-ready
• Guide release priorities and quality thresholds and inform post-launch roadmap sequencing
• Help shape the future delivery model as the platform evolves

Requirements:
• Right to work in the UK
• Extensive experience managing complex, technology-enabled transformation programmes
• Ability to operate successfully in regulated or similarly complex environments (public sector, infrastructure, defence) advantageous
• On-site presence required; comfortable working in a hybrid environment
• Available for a 2-week engagement starting 24/06/2026
