BI Analyst

Role Overview:
The BI Analyst will support the organisation's Data & Analytics team by designing and maintaining BI reports and dashboards, leveraging their technical expertise to provide actionable insights. This role is crucial for enabling the organisation to make informed, data-driven decisions that align with its strategic goals.
Key Skills & Experience:
• Strong proficiency in SQL, Power BI, semantic modelling, and DAX
• Excellent communication skills for engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Interest or experience in cloud migrations and modern data ecosystems (e.g., Microsoft Fabric)
• Bonus: experience or interest in programming languages such as Python or R
• Strong foundation in data analysis and a willingness to learn
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and enhance Power BI reports, dashboards, and semantic models
• Write efficient SQL queries to extract and transform data, building reliable data models
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate complex needs into effective BI solutions
• Optimize report performance and validate data integrity to ensure accuracy
• Contribute to the modernization of BI processes within the organisation
Requirements:
• Right to work in the UK
• Proven experience with SQL, Power BI, and data modelling
• Ability to communicate technical insights effectively
• Based on-site, with availability to work in a hybrid environment
• Available to commence from 24/06/2026 for a two-week project
