Business Applications Analyst

Role Overview:
The Business Applications Analyst plays a key role in supporting and maintaining housing management systems within a social housing organization. This role contributes to the smooth operation of application support processes, facilitating system enhancements and ensuring alignment with organizational objectives while working closely with internal teams and external partners.
Key Skills & Experience:
• Experience with Housing Management Systems, preferably HMS Orchard
• Familiarity with Agile or Waterfall project frameworks and process mapping
• Motivated individual with a proactive approach and strong collaboration skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
• Desire to continuously develop technical skills and industry knowledge
Key Responsibilities:
• Support and maintain Housing Management Systems to ensure operational efficiency
• Proactively probe and challenge requirements to understand underlying ‘why’ behind tasks
• Manage your own workload, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines without compromising quality
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to implement system improvements
• Assist in project activities related to application support and process enhancements
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for housing system issues
Requirements:
• Right to work in the UK
• Experience in application support for Housing Management Systems (minimum 2+ years)
• Familiarity with HMS Orchard or similar housing systems
• Understanding of project frameworks such as Agile or Waterfall
• Based in or willing to work on-site in Kent / hybrid (2-3 days per week)
• Previous experience working in social housing or related environments is desirable
