Location: City, London (Hybrid – 3 days in office)
Salary: £70,000 - £80,000 + 10% Bonus + Benefits
(27 days annual leave + BH, festive shutdowns, private medical & dental, 5% pension)

The Role
We are seeking a talented BI / Data Warehouse Developer to support the design, development, and maintenance of data solutions that drive business intelligence and reporting. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a major Oracle-to-Microsoft migration project, shaping the future of the company’s data strategy. You will also partner closely with key stakeholders including actuaries and finance teams to deliver dashboards and data tools that enable smarter decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain data warehouse solutions
- Build and optimize SQL Server database queries
- Create and enhance Power BI dashboards for business reporting
- Support ETL processes and ensure data accuracy
- Collaborate with actuaries and other stakeholders to deliver effective data tools
- Contribute to the Oracle-to-Microsoft migration project
Essential Skills & Experience
- 3-5+ years in a Data Warehouse or BI development role
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in the insurance sector
- Strong SQL Server skills
- Hands-on Power BI dashboard development
- Understanding of ETL processes
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Desirable Skills
- Oracle experience (Oracle SQL, Oracle Apex)
- Exposure to Microsoft Fabric
- Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate)
- Python for data manipulation
