Specialty Technician role
- Assist broker with preparation of quote (quote slips)
- Request new client code/TOBA from client
- Checking Crystal/Lloyd’s tools when applicable
- Drafting new/renewal slips depending on type of risk
- Submitting slip on PPL/Whitespace and signing and closing slip
- Sending out slip to client
- Renaming emails within XB
- Updating bordereau when declaration off a line slip
- Completing file and passing down to technical within a specific time period
- Creating endorsements when required and submitting on placing platform
- Keeping track of declarations and chasing when due
- Adjusting declarations when applicable
- Chasing bad debt when required after technical not receiving a response
- Keeping Bordereaux up to date and submitting to underwriters when required
- Assisting with lineslip and binder renewals
- Running risks not debited report
- Ad hoc duties when required
