We are seeking a highly experienced Tech Director for a fractional position within the finance industry. This is a 3-month contract role requiring a commitment of 3 days per week, including one day onsite in London. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the technical direction of complex application rebuilds, ensuring scalable, secure, and high-performance outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in fintech or digital agency settings, demonstrating the ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver robust technical solutions under tight deadlines. You should possess extensive experience in mobile development across both iOS and Android platforms, with a clear understanding of best practices for building responsive and user-friendly mobile applications.
As Tech Director, you'll provide technical leadership and strategic oversight, aligning technology initiatives with business goals. You will work closely with stakeholders to define technical strategy, review architectural decisions, and ensure consistent implementation of software development standards. A hands-on approach is essential, and familiarity with modern development frameworks, cloud infrastructure, and DevOps practices is strongly preferred.
