An outstanding opportunity has been announced to join a FTSE 100 organisation as Head of Technology, Risk & Delivery Assurance. This is a senior leadership role with strategic influence, offering the chance to shape and embed governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) practices across a dynamic technology function.

We are seeking a technology-driven leader who understands the full delivery lifecycle of software products and the challenges faced by engineering teams. You will serve as the primary voice for GRC-related matters, bringing a strong understanding of how to balance regulatory obligations with agile product and software development practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the strategic direction for GRC within the technology function
  • Design, develop, and implement frameworks that ensure compliance and drive continuous improvement
  • Ensure GRC principles are effectively embedded into engineering and product workflows
  • Provide expert guidance to senior stakeholders and act as a trusted advisor on all risk and assurance matters
  • Translate high-level regulatory requirements into actionable, metric-driven strategies
  • Promote a culture of operational excellence and accountability within delivery teams
Required Skills & Experience:
  • Deep understanding of GRC within a technology context, with the ability to influence technical stakeholders
  • A technical background or experience working closely with engineering teams
  • Strong strategic thinking with the ability to develop and execute roadmaps aligned with business goals
  • Proven ability to design and utilise performance metrics to enhance compliance and delivery assurance
  • Expertise in process design and implementation to improve team effectiveness
  • Strong leadership presence and the interpersonal skills needed to influence at all levels

This is a high-impact position requiring both technical credibility and strong leadership capabilities. You’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring that governance and regulatory frameworks support—rather than hinder—technology innovation.

Application Deadline: Please submit your updated CV by 3:00 PM on Friday, 27th June. Shortlisting will commence immediately after the deadline.
