Software Developer (.NET / Azure) - Dublin (Hybrid, 2–3 days onsite)
Onsite requirement: 2–3 days per week in Dublin
Contract length: Initial 3–4 months (project-based)

Rate: Circa £600 p/day. Open to negotiation based on experience and travel

The opportunity
We’re supporting a major cloud migration programme and are looking for an experienced Software Developer to join a key workstream supporting a pricing migration as part of a TIBCO upgrade. You’ll work closely with engineering and stakeholders to design, build and enhance services in a modern Azure environment, while also interfacing with legacy integrations.
What you’ll be doing
- Delivering .NET / C# development across a cloud migration programme
- Designing and building REST APIs and service integrations
- Working with legacy services (WCF / SOAP) where required
- Supporting SQL development and data-related changes
- Building/maintaining CI/CD pipelines and improving deployment processes
- Contributing to cloud architecture and resilient, scalable solution design
- Implementing observability (monitoring/logging) for cloud services
- Using AI-assisted development tools effectively to accelerate delivery and quality
Key skills & experience
- Strong commercial experience with .NET & C#
- REST API design/development
- Unit testing with NUnit and/or xUnit
- Legacy integration experience: WCF / SOAP
- SQL database development/management
- Microsoft Azure experience, ideally including:
- Azure Service Bus
- Azure Storage
- Azure Container Apps
- Infrastructure as Code: Bicep or Terraform
- CI/CD: design, implementation and maintenance
- Solid engineering fundamentals across distributed systems / microservices / resilience
- Comfortable explaining technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders
