Software Developer (.NET / Azure) - Dublin (Hybrid, 2–3 days onsite)

Onsite requirement: 2–3 days per week in Dublin 
Contract length: Initial 3–4 months (project-based)
Start: ASAP
Rate: Circa £600 p/day. Open to negotiation based on experience and travel
IR35: Outside 

The opportunity

We’re supporting a major cloud migration programme and are looking for an experienced Software Developer to join a key workstream supporting a pricing migration as part of a TIBCO upgrade. You’ll work closely with engineering and stakeholders to design, build and enhance services in a modern Azure environment, while also interfacing with legacy integrations.

What you’ll be doing

  • Delivering .NET / C# development across a cloud migration programme
  • Designing and building REST APIs and service integrations
  • Working with legacy services (WCF / SOAP) where required
  • Supporting SQL development and data-related changes
  • Building/maintaining CI/CD pipelines and improving deployment processes
  • Contributing to cloud architecture and resilient, scalable solution design
  • Implementing observability (monitoring/logging) for cloud services
  • Using AI-assisted development tools effectively to accelerate delivery and quality

Key skills & experience

  • Strong commercial experience with .NET & C#
  • REST API design/development
  • Unit testing with NUnit and/or xUnit
  • Legacy integration experience: WCF / SOAP
  • SQL database development/management
  • Microsoft Azure experience, ideally including:
    • Azure Service Bus
    • Azure Storage
    • Azure Container Apps
  • Infrastructure as Code: Bicep or Terraform
  • CI/CD: design, implementation and maintenance
  • Solid engineering fundamentals across distributed systems / microservices / resilience
  • Comfortable explaining technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders
