Project Manager / Data Business Analyst – Insurance Data | UK Remote | Circa £80k + Bonus + Benefits

Are you passionate about data, agile delivery, and making a real impact in the insurance space? We're working with a forward-thinking general insurer operating an almost fully delegated model, and they’re looking for a Project Manager / Data Business Analyst to join their growing data team.

Location: UK Remote (with one paid day per month in London)

Salary: Circa £80,000 (flexible DOE)

Package Includes:

  • 10% annual bonus
  • Profit share scheme
  • 10% pension contribution
  • Private Medical Insurance (PMI)
  • And more...

The Role

This is a hybrid role combining project management and business analysis, focused on delivering high-quality data products across the delegated insurance model. You’ll work closely with MGAs, TPAs, and internal stakeholders (CUO, CAO, CFO, Compliance) to ensure data is collected, transformed, and delivered accurately and consistently.

You’ll be the bridge between business and engineering — managing backlogs, refining requirements, and helping shape the data journey from ingestion to insight.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Lead agile delivery across a small data engineering team
  • Translate business requirements into technical deliverables
  • Manage stakeholder relationships and data contracts with MGAs
  • Oversee backlog prioritisation, sprint planning, and risk management
  • Ensure data quality and consistency across Snowflake-based platforms
  • Collaborate with a sister data team in France

What We’re Looking For

  • 5–10 years’ experience in data-focused PM/BA roles (flexible)
  • Strong understanding of insurance data models
  • Experience with SQL
  • Snowflake knowledge desirabele
  • Agile/Scrum/Kanban delivery experience
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Experience with delegated authority models and bordereaux management (desirable)

The Team

You’ll report into the COO and work alongside three data engineers, with occasional collaboration with global data team.
