Programme Manager
Our client is a housing organization currently undergoing a significant phase of post-merger integration, fostering a collaborative and forward-thinking culture. This role involves leading the technical integration of two organisations, with a focus on consolidating legacy estates into a unified, high-performing technology stack. A key project includes ownership of a flagship Repairs System implementation, providing high visibility at board level. The role offers the opportunity to work within a high-autonomy environment, directly influencing services that benefit thousands of residents.
Role Overview:
The Programme Manager will oversee the technical aspects of post-merger integration, ensuring successful delivery of key projects and strategic initiatives. Partnering with a skilled in-house technical team, you will focus on high-level orchestration of complex software integrations and systems consolidation to achieve seamless operational continuity.
Key Skills & Experience:
• Deep understanding of Housing Management Systems (HMS)
• Proven experience leading large-scale software integrations, particularly in post-merger or change environments
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with ability to communicate technical concepts to senior stakeholders and board-level audiences
• Delivery-oriented mindset with a track record of managing complex programmes from inception to completion
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the technical integration projects as part of the post-merger process
• Manage the implementation of a new Repairs System, ensuring project milestones are achieved
• Coordinate with internal technical teams and external stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions
• Navigate the boardroom and manage senior expectations, translating technical language into business value
• Oversee the consolidation of legacy estates into a single, efficient technology environment
• Drive successful programme delivery within the allocated timeframes and budget parameters
Requirements:
• Right to work in the UK
• Experience working within the housing sector or similar environments preferred
• Ability to operate in a hybrid working environment, initially 2-3 days on-site in the South East
