We are seeking an experienced Power BI Developer to support a key Housing IT project on a remote basis. This contract role offers a day rate of £450, is outside IR35, and will initially run for a period of 3 months, with potential for extension.
The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying insightful Power BI dashboards and reports. You will work closely with stakeholders across the Housing IT domain to gather requirements, interpret data patterns, and deliver actionable analytics. Your expertise will help inform business decisions and improve operational efficiency within housing systems.
To be successful in this role, you must have proven commercial experience with Power BI, DAX, and Power Query. You should be adept at integrating data from various sources, including housing management systems, and structuring data models effectively. A strong background in SQL Server, data warehousing concepts, and report optimisation is essential.
Prior experience working within the Housing sector or with Housing Management Systems (such as Northgate, Civica, or Capita) is highly desirable. Knowledge of data governance, security best practices, and GDPR compliance is also important. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical users and have strong problem-solving skills.
This is a fully remote role, requiring individuals who are self-motivated, organised, and capable of working independently to set deadlines.
