PMO Lead
Our client is supporting an exciting opportunity to help drive a major housing transformation programme, with a focus on strong governance, clear oversight, and senior stakeholder engagement. This role will suit an experienced PMO leader who enjoys bringing structure and consistency to complex programmes and ensuring risks and performance are actively managed. Your work will help keep the programme on track and deliver meaningful transformation.
Role Overview:
As the PMO Lead, you will provide programme governance and assurance, strengthen reporting and risk oversight, and drive consistency across PMO frameworks and standards to support the wider transformation programme team.
Key Skills & Experience:
• Strong PMO leadership experience in complex environments
• Experience managing programme governance, reporting, and risk
• Experience working in public sector, housing, or Local Gov
• Ability to influence stakeholders and provide constructive challenge
Key Responsibilities:
• Drive programme governance and assurance activities
• Lead risk management and provide ongoing performance oversight
• Engage with stakeholders at senior level
• Drive consistency across PMO frameworks and standards
• Support a large-scale housing/transformation programme through structured PMO delivery
Requirements:
• Demonstrable PMO leadership experience in complex environments
• Experience managing programme governance, reporting, and risk
• Experience working in public sector/housing/Local Gov
• Ability to influence stakeholders and provide constructive challenge
• Hybrid working with 2 days per week on site in Surrey
• On-site working required
