They’re now looking for a Lead Frontend Developer to take ownership of their core web architecture, design systems, and digital experiences — helping shape the next generation of their customer platform.

As the Lead Frontend Developer, you’ll be at the forefront of a high-performing engineering function, driving the evolution of web architecture and design systems. You’ll lead a small but growing team, mentor other engineers, and play a hands-on role in developing new UI experiences across the platform.

Tech Stack
- React, TypeScript, Next.js (core technologies)
- Integration with Headless CMS (e.g. Contentful)
- CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, automated testing (Node, Jest, React Testing Library, SonarCloud, NPM)
- Exposure to Cloud environments and secure API-driven architectures
What You'll do
- Design and develop new components and features for key user interfaces
- Expand and evolve the internal Design System and Component Catalogue
- Ensure all code is production-quality, secure, and adheres to core engineering standards
- Provide architectural insight on how to evolve the frontend platform
- Collaborate closely with UX designers, product teams, and backend engineers
- Mentor other developers and uphold engineering best practices
- Lead the Web Practice — driving consistency, performance, and technical excellence
Leadership & Collaboration
- Act as a technical lead for a distributed (onshore/offshore) team
- Create an environment of mentorship, learning, and accountability
- Promote knowledge sharing and high coding standards
- Partner with stakeholders across design, product, and engineering
What we're looking for
- 8+ years’ experience in Frontend development
- Strong background in React, TypeScript, and Next.js
- Deep experience working with component libraries / design systems
- Solid understanding of CI/CD automation, testing, and DevOps principles
- Experience integrating with APIs and Headless CMS platforms
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- A collaborative mindset with the ability to lead, influence, and inspire
