An exciting opportunity has arisen for a senior exposure management professional to lead the Exposure Management function for a well‑established London Market managing agency. This is a key strategic role, working closely with senior leadership to drive a high‑quality exposure management framework across multiple syndicates.
In this position, you will take ownership of the agency’s exposure management policies, processes and reporting, ensuring they are robust, efficient and aligned with regulatory requirements. You will oversee catastrophe exposure across the portfolio, ensuring alignment with agreed risk appetites and tolerances, and develop tools and methodologies that support accurate, timely exposure capture and analysis.
You will also provide guidance and oversight to managed syndicates, supporting their delivery of a consistent, risk‑based approach to exposure quantification, validation and view of risk development. This includes ensuring a materially complete representation of catastrophe risk, effective governance around model changes, and strong alignment with Lloyd’s catastrophe exposure principles.
The ideal candidate will bring extensive Lloyd’s market experience, strong technical ability across exposure management platforms, excellent communication skills and the ability to lead, influence and collaborate. Highly numerate, analytical and proactive, you will be comfortable managing multiple deadlines and driving continual improvement.
