Senior Claims Specialist/Manager – Property & Casualty (International)
A major international organisation is seeking a Senior Claims Specialist to oversee its Property & Casualty claims portfolio across multiple European territories.
This is a broad, commercially focused role offering genuine regional exposure. You will act as the central point of coordination between brokers, insurers, legal advisers and third-party administrators, ensuring claims are handled efficiently, compliantly and with strong financial discipline.
This position is ideal for an experienced P&C claims professional who enjoys ownership and influence, without necessarily wanting direct line management responsibility.

Key responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing the lifecycle of Property & Casualty claims from notification through to settlement
- Reviewing and constructively challenging reserves, settlement positions and defence strategies
- Managing relationships with brokers, insurers, legal counsel and third-party administrators
- Producing detailed claims MI, identifying trends and supporting loss prevention initiatives
- Ensuring processes align with regulatory requirements, including GDPR
- Supporting incident reporting and related premium and claims administration activity
- Minimum 5 years’ experience handling Property & Casualty claims within European markets
- Experience gained within either a broker or insurer environment
- Strong technical understanding of multi-jurisdictional claims handling
- Confident reviewing reserves and influencing settlement strategy
- Commercially astute and comfortable operating autonomously
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- ACII (or working towards) preferred; advanced qualifications advantageous
