Role Overview:
The US Wholesale Property Underwriter is responsible for evaluating insurance applications and underwriting property risks in the wholesale segment. This position supports the wider team by providing expert analysis to facilitate sound underwriting decisions, contributing to the company's risk management portfolio.
Key Skills & Experience:
• Experience with GIUW COB Property or similar insurance underwriting systems
• Strong analytical and risk assessment skills
• Knowledge of US wholesale property insurance market
• Excellent communication and decision-making abilities
Key Responsibilities:
• Evaluate and underwrite wholesale property insurance applications
• Analyze risk data to determine appropriate coverage and terms
• Collaborate with brokers and internal teams to ensure accurate risk assessment
• Maintain thorough documentation of underwriting decisions
• Support the development of new products and underwriting strategies
Requirements:
• Right to work in the UK
• Experience in UK permanent employment
• Ability to work on-site as required
• Knowledge of the insurance industry, specifically property underwriting
