Full Stack Developer – AI-Native Development
 

Location: Ireland (Hybrid – minimum 2 days per week on-site)

Day Rate: £DOE

IR35 Status: Outside
 

We're looking for an experienced Full Stack Developer who has strong AI experince.

This is a hands on role helping shape engineering standards, modernising legacy platforms, and deliver digital experiences that transform how customers and colleagues interact with our products and services. You'll also act as a trusted technology partner to the wider business, helping translate strategic objectives into scalable technical solutions.

This role is based in Ireland, with a hybrid working model requiring a minimum of two days per week on-site.
 

Requirements 

  • Drive the identification and reduction of technical debt, improving the scalability, performance, security and maintainability of the technology estate.
  • Partner closely with business stakeholders to understand challenges, shape technical solutions, and influence technology decisions.
  • Use AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor or similar as an integral part of your daily engineering workflow, including development, testing, debugging, documentation and refactoring.
  • Play a key role in transforming digital journeys across customer and operational platforms.
  • Contribute to the evolution of an AI-enabled software delivery pipeline, embedding automated testing, intelligent code review, security analysis and quality assurance throughout CI/CD.
  • Design, develop and deliver high-quality software as a hands-on member of a cross-functional product squad, owning solutions from concept through to production.

Essential Skills 

  • Demonstrable experience working in an AI-native development environment, using AI coding assistants as a core part of professional software engineering rather than for experimentation alone.
  • Experience implementing or working within AI-enabled software delivery pipelines, including AI-assisted testing, code review and development automation.
  • Proven experience modernising legacy systems and migrating middleware or integration platforms to Microsoft Azure or another leading cloud platform.
  • Strong technical expertise across modern software development technologies such as Node.js, TypeScript, React, Python, .NET or similar.
  • Solid understanding of CI/CD, DevOps practices, containerisation and orchestration technologies including Docker and Kubernetes.

Desirable

  • Microsoft Azure certifications.
  • Experience establishing governance, standards or best practices for enterprise-scale generative AI adoption.
