We are partnering with a Welsh Housing Association seeking a Data and Reporting Analyst to help drive its transformation into a data-led environment. This role is ideal for someone passionate about turning data into actionable insights that inform strategic decisions and improve services.

Role: Data and Reporting Analyst
Salary: £37,661

Contract: Permanent
Location: South Wales
Benefits: Pension: Employer contributes 4% more than the employee, up to a maximum of 9%, Leave: 25 days annual leave. Hybrid.

What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Designing and maintaining dashboards and reports in Power BI to support performance monitoring.
  • Collaborating with managers and teams to deliver high-quality insights.
  • Building data models and visualisations that tell compelling stories.
  • Supporting regulatory reporting to external bodies.
  • Identifying and improving inefficient data processes.
  • Coaching and training staff to build data awareness and capability.

What We’re Looking For
Essential:
  • Experience in data analysis, reporting, and dashboard development.
  • Strong knowledge of Power BI, SQL, and data management principles.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • A problem-solver with a keen eye for detail and a passion for data.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment.
Desirable:
  • Degree-level qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in the housing or public sector.
  • Familiarity with tools like SSAS, SSRS, SSIS, and scripting languages.
  • Welsh language skills.
