Role: System Analyst (Data Migration) – Finance Systems – Unit 4

What You’ll Be Doing:
- Support the data migration process from PS Financials to Unit4 ERPX.
- Assess and resolve data quality issues ahead of migration.
- Define and manage the scope of data migration (e.g., 3–5 years of historical data).
- Develop and oversee the migration plan, ensuring milestones and deliverables are met.
- Liaise with the Unit4 implementation team, who will conduct the data loading activities.
- Perform post-load validation and reconciliation checks to ensure data integrity.
- Collaborate closely with internal finance and systems teams to ensure a smooth and accurate transition.
Essential Criteria:
- Proven experience in data migration, ideally involving finance or ERP systems.
- Strong understanding of financial data structures, cleansing, and reconciliation.
- Ability to work independently and manage deliverables with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- High attention to detail, analytical thinking, and a focus on data accuracy.
Desirable:
- Experience with Unit4 ERPX or other ERP implementations.
- Background in finance, accounting, or systems analysis.
- Experience working with external vendors or implementation partners.
- Familiarity with not-for-profit organisations.
