A well regarded and growing insurance MGA is seeking an Underwriting Services Analyst to join its dynamic London based team. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with a background in insurance operations or accounting to play a key role in supporting underwriting and financial processes within a fast paced MGA environment.
Working closely with internal underwriting, finance, and operations teams, as well as offshore service providers, you will help ensure the smooth day to day running of technical processes. Responsibilities include supporting premium and claims processing, overseeing bordereaux and credit control activities, coordinating funding requirements, and resolving operational queries within agreed service levels.
The role offers broad exposure across the business, including collaboration with brokers, carriers, and outsourced teams. You will also contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, helping to enhance systems and processes.
Key requirements include:
Experience within the London Market, ideally with an MGA, broker, or carrier
Understanding of insurance accounting processes (premium handling, claims, credit control, bordereaux)
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Experience working with or overseeing outsourced or offshore teams
High attention to detail and a proactive, solutions focused mindset
Advanced Excel skills
