As the the Programme Manager, you’ll lead the discovery phase of this high-profile initiative one of the University’s “IT Big 6” projects. You’ll take ownership of mobilising the programme, establishing governance, managing risks and dependencies, and producing a full options appraisal and business case that will inform investment decisions at the highest level.
This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a pivotal programme that will directly impact staff, students, and the institution’s long-term digital strategy. You will have the autonomy to build and lead your team how you see fit in a supportive and innovative environment.
We’re looking for an experienced Programme Manager with:
- Significant experience leading student records systems programmes (selection, migration, or implementation).
- Strong knowledge of Tribal SITS (or equivalent student records systems) within Higher Education.
- Proven ability to deliver large-scale technology change programmes from discovery through to completion.
- Experience of developing £1m+ business cases to inform strategic investment decisions.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, able to influence at all levels.
- Strong technical project/programme management skills (governance, risk, budgets, dependencies).
Desirable:
- Knowledge of high-level systems design and architecture.
- Project/programme management certifications (PRINCE2, MSP, Agile).
