Senior Product Designer
Rate: £480 Inside IR35

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Product Designer to join our mobile apps team on a 12-month contract based in London. This role is focused on designing app features to enhance the core user experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in visual design (60% UI, 40% UX), particularly within native mobile applications, and will be passionate about delivering engaging, accessible experiences at scale. This is an excellent opportunity to work on widely-used consumer-facing products with a fast-paced and collaborative team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead design strategy and execution for new features within our iOS and Android apps.
- Drive visual design excellence using platform guidelines (Material 3, Liquid Glass).
- Collaborate daily with cross-functional teams including engineers, PMs, QA and other designers.
- Contribute to and help evolve a design system for implementation across a team of 20+ designers.
- Ensure compliance with accessibility standards across all designs.
- Participate in discovery processes, including usability testing using tools like UserTesting and Hotjar.
Role Requirements
- Extensive experience in product design for mobile (native iOS and Android).
- Strong visual and UI design skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Proven experience working with design systems at scale.
- Comfortable collaborating across disciplines in an agile environment.
- Knowledge of accessibility principles and inclusive design practices.
- Experience with consumer-scale digital products is highly desirable.
- Evidence of humility, adaptability, and a collaborative mindset.
- Ability to work efficiently with existing frameworks and team designs.
- Available to start in September or by October at the latest (short notice period preferred).
