Overview
A leading insurer is seeking a Senior Risk Analyst to join its Enterprise Risk team. Working closely with senior stakeholders across the business, the role combines risk oversight, analysis and business partnering to support effective risk management, strategic decision-making and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver risk analysis and identify emerging and forward-looking risks.
- Support stress testing, scenario analysis and wider risk framework activities.
- Assist with the development and maintenance of ORSA documentation.
- Provide independent review and challenge of business activities from a second-line risk perspective.
- Maintain a holistic view of the organisation’s risk profile.
- Produce risk reporting and insights for Executive and Board-level committees.
- Lead or support risk reviews, thematic assessments and control effectiveness exercises.
- Contribute to internal model governance and validation oversight.
- Support regulatory reporting and engagement with Lloyd’s and PRA requirements.
- Enhance risk MI, dashboards and reporting capabilities.
Additional Responsibilities
- Partner with Underwriting, Claims, Finance, Operations, Actuarial and Compliance teams.
- Support data quality initiatives and process improvements.
- Ensure adherence to governance, risk and regulatory standards.
- Assist with wider risk projects and business initiatives as required.
Requirements
- Experience within Risk Management or a related role in insurance or financial services.
- Lloyd’s / London Market experience preferred.
- Understanding of Solvency II, ORSA, internal models and regulatory frameworks.
- Experience supporting senior management, Board-level reporting or regulatory engagement.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
- Advanced Excel skills; experience with data analytics tools is beneficial.
