Job Title: Senior Pricing Analyst – Energy Costing
Location: Leeds (Hybrid – 2 days onsite per week)
Salary: Up to £60,000 per annum

Due to continued expansion, they are looking for an experienced Pricing Analyst with experience in the energy sector to lead complex pricing analysis and strategy development for flexible energy products, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and profitability.
The Senior Pricing Analyst will act as a subject matter expert, driving process improvements, automation, and digital transformation initiatives while providing guidance and mentorship to junior members

Key Responsibilities
- Advanced Pricing Analysis: Manage and validate complex pricing models for electricity and gas flexible trades, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Strategic Input: Contribute to pricing strategy development, market analysis, and regulatory impact assessments.
- Process Optimisation: Identify and implement improvements to pricing systems and processes, focusing on automation and efficiency.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Billing, Finance, Legal) and external partners to resolve pricing queries and deliver bespoke solutions.
- Data Management & Reporting: Oversee data integrity in pricing systems, produce KPI reports, and provide actionable insights to senior leadership.
- Project Leadership: Act as SME on pricing-related projects, supporting product development and system enhancements.
- Mentorship: Support and guide junior analysts, sharing best practices and technical expertise.
Skills & Experience
Essential Skills :
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (VBA/SQL) and strong data analysis capabilities.
- Proven experience in energy pricing, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
- Ability to manage complex datasets and articulate insights clearly to senior stakeholders.
Desirable:
- Python or advanced analytics tools experience.
- Salary up to £60,000
- Hybrid working (2 days a week in Leeds)
