As a fast-growing, profitable scale-up, they are looking to expand its market offerings and are rebuilding their core platform as a fully native app.
They are looking to take on a Senior Cloud Engineer with a strong background in GCP (essential).
You’ll be responsible for designing, building, and operating the GCP infrastructure that must withstand spikes in usage, support rapid deployment, and enable developers to move fast with confidence.

You’ll be responsible for designing, building, and operating the GCP infrastructure that must withstand spikes in usage, support rapid deployment, and enable developers to move fast with confidence.
You Must Have:
- 5+ years cloud engineering in production environments (a minimum of 2 years in commercial GCP)
- Deep GCP expertise (Compute, Cloud Run, Cloud SQL, Pub/Sub, IAM, networking)
- Strong Python
- Strong IaC experience (Pulumi or Terraform)
- Solid networking fundamentals
- Expertise with Docker, Cloud Run/Kubernetes
- CI/CD ownership experience
- Monitoring/observability experience (Datadog, Prometheus, Cloud Monitoring)
- Salary: £70,000- £80,000 Depending on experience
- Remote working (You must be UK-based)
- The ability to own and influence the company direction and product
