Overview
A seasoned Senior Android Engineer is required to support a high-impact project, working across a modern Android codebase built in Java and Kotlin. This role suits someone who can quickly embed into a team, take ownership of key features, and deliver high‑quality, maintainable code in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain advanced Android applications using Java and Kotlin

Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to deliver new features

Optimise performance, reliability, and scalability across the Android stack

Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance to the wider team

Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues

Contribute to architectural decisions and best practices
Required Skills & Experience

Strong commercial experience with Java and Kotlin

Proven track record delivering high-quality Android applications

Solid understanding of Android SDK, architecture components, and modern development patterns (MVVM, Clean Architecture, etc.)

Experience integrating RESTful APIs and third‑party libraries

Strong debugging, problem‑solving, and optimisation skills

Ability to work autonomously and deliver within tight timelines
