We are currently seeking a skilled QL Procurement Data Analyst with expertise in the housing IT sector to support our client on a short-term basis. This is a fully remote, contract role offering a daily rate of £400, with an initial contract duration of three months. The engagement falls outside of IR35, making it an ideal opportunity for experienced contractors. The role will involve ad hoc work depending on project needs, so flexibility and responsiveness are essential qualities.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in procurement data analysis specifically within QL Housing system. You will be responsible for extracting, interpreting and analysing procurement and financial data to support key business decisions and compliance requirements. A core part of your role will include generating dashboards and reports, identifying trends, anomalies and inefficiencies in procurement activity, and offering insights to improve purchasing operations and data quality management.
You will be expected to work closely with internal stakeholders, including procurement teams, finance, and IT, to ensure data integrity and the effective configuration and use of the QL system. Experience with Power BI or similar data visualisation tools, along with proficiency in SQL, Excel, and other analytical tools, is highly desirable. Familiarity with public sector procurement regulations, social housing environments, and understanding of Housing Management Systems are all advantageous.
Key requirements include proven experience as a Data Analyst, ideally within QL Housing or similar platform environment, and a strong grasp of procurement and financial workflows. You should have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision, have excellent communication skills to interpret stakeholder needs, and be able to translate complex data into meaningful insights.
