We are currently seeking an experienced Aareon QL Consultant to support a key housing IT transformation project within the social housing sector. This is a fully remote contract role with a competitive daily rate of £450, offered on an Outside IR35 basis. The engagement will initially run for 3 months, with the potential for extension subject to project needs and performance.
The successful candidate will bring extensive hands-on experience of the Aareon QL Housing Management System, and be confident working with modules including repairs, tenancy and leasehold management, asset management, rents, and CRM. You must be able to provide expert-level consultancy on QL system configuration, data migration, integration with third-party systems, and process improvement. You will be expected to liaise with stakeholders to gather requirements, translate them into functional specifications, and support testing and training activities throughout the implementation or upgrade lifecycle.
Key responsibilities will include reviewing and modernising existing QL workflows, enhancing data accuracy and reporting capabilities, and optimising system efficiency in line with housing sector best practices. You will also provide guidance and knowledge transfer to in-house teams, ensuring sustainable adoption and effective utilisation of the QL platform post-engagement.
To be considered for this role, you must have previous consultancy experience within the housing IT sector, particularly related to the Aareon QL system. A deep understanding of social housing processes and regulations is essential, along with a proven ability to deliver complex system changes within tight timelines. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are crucial, as is a proactive, self-starter attitude that thrives in remote working environments.
