Head of IT

They are currently seeking a strategic and experienced Head of IT to lead their digital transformation and ensure technology effectively supports their ambitious growth plans. The role involves shaping and executing the IT strategy, managing operations, and fostering a high-performance team—all within a dynamic, evolving environment where technology is central to delivering secure homes and improved outcomes.
Role Overview:
The Head of IT will lead the organisation’s IT functions, driving the development of integrated systems, data capabilities, and secure digital solutions. This role is vital in supporting the organisation’s strategic aims, ensuring technology enables service excellence, compliance, and growth at a pivotal point in their transformation journey.
Key Skills & Experience:
• Proven experience in a senior IT leadership role, delivering strategy and operations
• Strong track record of IT transformation, systems integration, and data-led decision making
• Experience implementing secure, scalable, cloud-based and digital solutions
• Ability to lead teams and influence senior stakeholders and boards
• Commercial awareness, with experience managing budgets and supplier relationships
• Passion for leveraging technology to improve services and outcomes for customers
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the delivery and ongoing development of IT strategy aligned with business goals
• Develop and maintain integrated systems and advanced data capabilities
• Ensure cyber security, resilience, and robust data protection across all systems
• Oversee daily IT operations to guarantee reliability and performance
• Lead and develop the IT team, fostering a high-performance culture
• Manage third-party suppliers and technology partners effectively
• Support the organisation’s growth through scalable, future-ready technology solutions
• Contribute to senior-level reporting and strategic decision-making, including board engagement
Requirements:
• Right to work in the UK
• Proven senior IT leadership experience
• Experience in digital transformation and systems integration
• Knowledge of secure, cloud-based digital solutions
• Ability to operate in purpose-driven, evolving environments
• Willingness to work on-site as required (hybrid working model with circa 1 day per week in London)
• Available to start from 22/06/2026
