I am excited to announce that we have partnered with a Housing Association who are entering an exciting phase of growth and transformation. We are seeking a Director of IT & Transformation to play a pivotal role in delivering their ambitious 5-year corporate plan. This is a newly created role within a new directorate, designed to lead a major transformation agenda across the organisation.

About the Role
Reporting directly to the CEO, you will lead organisation-wide transformation, not just IT. This is a strategic, change-focused leadership role where you will shape how the business operates, embedding a modern, high-performing, and customer-focused culture.

You will:
  • Design and deliver large-scale transformation programmes aligned to business strategy.
  • Lead both IT and organisational development (OD) functions, aligning technology, people, and processes.
  • Act as a catalyst for cultural change and innovation, driving continuous improvement across the business.
  • Develop and implement a forward-thinking IT and digital strategy, improving systems and customer services.
  • Ensure robust cyber security, infrastructure, and IT governance frameworks.
  • Provide strategic leadership at Board and SMT level, contributing to corporate decision-making.
Crucially, this role is not inheriting a fixed structure, you will help design the future operating model.

About You:
We are looking for a dynamic, forward-thinking leader who can bring energy and innovation during a period of change.
You will be:
  • A go-getter with a track record of delivering transformation at scale
  • Innovative, adaptable, and open to new ways of working
  • Skilled at bringing people on the journey and embedding cultural change
  • Confident operating at executive level, influencing senior stakeholders and boards
Experience required:
  • Leading large-scale transformation and change programmes.
  • Strong IT and digital leadership capability, even if not 100% technically focused.
  • Expertise in project/change methodologies (Agile, PRINCE2, etc.).
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Housing experience is beneficial, but not essential.
Recruitment Process & Timeline:
Shortlisting: 4th June
Assessment: WC 8th June
Face to Face Interview: 18th June

If you’re a strategic leader ready to drive meaningful transformation and leave a lasting legacy, we’d love to hear from you.
