As a Data Analyst, you will play a vital role in ensuring the integrity and accuracy of financial data, working closely with both finance and academic teams to enhance reporting and automation capabilities. Essential skills:
- Educated to degree level or relevant work experience
- An advanced level of experience in Excel
- Excellent attention to detail and strong numerical acumen
- Proactive and willingness to learn
- Excellent communication skills as well as an ability to manage stakeholders at all levels
Desirable skills:
- Finance background or having experience working on a finance system
- Experience of finance implementations or process improvement
- Experience working in a Higher Education setting
Reporting into the Financial Systems and Data Manager you will be responsible for analysing data in the existing financial and associated business systems to enhance processes and data quality.
Responsibilities include:
- Ensuring data integrity, effective operation of processes and controls, and the timely and accurate production of student invoicing using data from the Student Management System.
- The role is integral to the development of key systems and processes, including the development of process automations and ensuring data integrity in the finance system and the University's student management system.
