C# Developer

This role involves designing and developing cloud‑based software using C#, contributing to architectural discussions, supporting CI/CD workflows, and utilising AI‑assisted engineering tools. Role Overview:
This role is integral to the engineering team, focusing on building modern, cloud‑based applications with a team-oriented culture that encourages innovation and responsibility.
Key Skills & Experience:
• Commercial experience with C#/.NET
• Strong background in cloud computing (AWS preferred; Azure/GCP transferable)
• Familiarity with CI/CD, DevOps, and infrastructure-as-code
• Experience working within a collaborative, high‑performing team
• Ability to travel to Sheffield once per week (North of England preferred)
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and build cloud‑based solutions using C# and .NET technologies
• Participate in architectural discussions and technical decision‑making
• Support and maintain CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure‑as‑code workflows
• Engage in code reviews and support DevOps processes
• Utilise AI‑assisted engineering tools in day‑to‑day development activities
Requirements:
• Several years of commercial experience in C#/.NET development
• Proven cloud experience, preferably AWS (Azure/GCP transferable)
• Right to work in the UK
• Ability to work on-site in Sheffield (or within roughly 40 miles)
• Willingness to travel once per week
Nice to Have:
• 3D graphics, gaming, or rendering experience
• Exposure to DevOps, CI/CD, and infrastructure as code
• Experience with broader responsibilities and progression mindset
• Positive attitude towards AI‑assisted engineering
