We are seeking a highly skilled Asset Data Analyst with a strong background in the housing sector for a remote, contract-based opportunity. The successful candidate will be responsible for extracting, analysing, and validating asset data to support business decisions and ensure data integrity across housing assets. This role commands a day rate of £400 and requires a proficient analyst with a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
As an Asset Data Analyst, you will work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, develop robust reporting solutions, and maintain data accuracy across various systems. You will be expected to extract asset data using SQL and Azure, offering insights and recommendations to support property and housing stock strategies. Experience in managing complex data sets and working within the housing or social housing sectors is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Extract, cleanse, and analyse housing asset data from multiple systems.
- Create and maintain dashboards and reports to present data insights.
- Ensure consistency, quality, and integrity of all asset-related data.
- Support the development and implementation of data standards and procedures.
- Collaborate with operational teams and management to interpret data results and provide actionable insights.
- Ensure compliance with relevant data protection and housing legislation.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Data Analyst or Asset Analyst within the housing industry.
- Advanced knowledge of SQL for data extraction, manipulation, and reporting.
- Hands-on experience using Microsoft Azure, especially for handling and integrating asset data.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data validation skills.
- Experience with data visualisation tools such as Power BI or similar.
- Understanding of housing asset systems and property management data.
- Excellent communication skills, able to translate complex data into understandable insights.
- High attention to detail, with a methodical and accurate approach to work.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
