Application Support Analyst – Up to 35k- Chester- Hybrid

About the Role

Gravitas Group are partnered exclusively with a leading UK Housing Association. Our client are looking to hire an Applications Support Analyst to join their team going through some recent growth.

This role is ideal for someone with solid application support experience who’s keen to grow their skills in M365, Power Apps/Automate, and change management.

Key Responsibilities
 

• Provide 1st–3rd line application support- troubleshoot and resolve incidents and service requests.
• Deliver user training, create documentation, and maintain the team’s training site.
• Support change management processes-impact assessments (GDPR, legal, compliance), approvals, and communications.
• Run basic SQL queries to validate data and assist troubleshooting (with DBA support for advanced tasks).
• Collaborate with Technical and Projects teams, escalating to suppliers and SMEs when needed.
• Contribute to the digitisation of manual forms and workflows using Microsoft 365 and the Power Platform.
• Balance service desk support with project and development work in a fast-paced environment.

Essentials Skills:
 

• Solid experience in application support (ideally 2nd line, with 3rd line exposure)
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and prioritisation skills
• Clear, patient communicator, comfortable delivering training and writing documentation
• Understanding of software lifecycle and change management concepts
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 (Teams, SharePoint)

Desirables:
 

• Experience coordinating testing (SIT/UAT) and managing release/upgrade cycles
• Knowledge of the housing sector (desirable, not essential)
• Exposure to the Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, forms)
• Experience with Civica CX, Keystone, or DocuWare
• Awareness of GDPR and compliance requirements
• Basic SQL for data validation and troubleshooting
