Application Support Analyst
Location: Leeds (Hybrid – 3 days onsite per week)
Salary: £37,000
Gravitas is working with a major organisation driving the transition to low‑carbon energy across the UK. As part of their growing Digital Workplace function, they are looking for a Application Support Analyst to support and enhance the end‑user technology experience across their UK offices.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide day‑to‑day support for end users across laptops, desktops, mobile devices and collaboration tools.
- Act as a key point of contact for user issues, ensuring all requests are logged and handled efficiently.
- Work closely with the central Service Desk and other IT teams to ensure smooth resolution of incidents and service requests.
- Keep track of support tickets, spotting recurring issues and raising them where needed for further investigation.
- Communicate clearly with users throughout the lifecycle of their queries, ensuring they understand progress and outcomes.
- Support meeting rooms and workplace technology, including AV setups and video‑conferencing equipment.
- Troubleshoot device and application issues, as well as basic networking and connectivity problems.
- Build, configure and deploy devices to company standards, ensuring they meet security and compliance requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment, user allocations and asset movements.
- Support joiners, movers and leavers processes, ensuring accounts and permissions are set up correctly.
- Produce and maintain documentation, including knowledge articles and user guides.
- Work collaboratively with wider IT teams on escalations, improvements and shared initiatives.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Experience providing hands‑on IT support in a service-driven environment.
- Strong understanding of Windows operating systems, Office 365 and Active Directory administration.
- Practical knowledge of laptops, desktops, peripherals and common workplace technologies.
- Familiarity with service management processes and ticketing systems.
- Basic understanding of networking fundamentals.
- Awareness of cybersecurity principles relating to end‑user devices.
- Ability to juggle multiple tasks and respond effectively in busy or time‑sensitive situations.
- Confident communicator with a strong customer‑service mindset.
Desirable
- Experience working across multiple company sites.
- Knowledge of mobile device management solutions such as Intune.
- Understanding of cloud‑based workplace tools and provisioning platforms.
- Relevant certifications in desktop or Microsoft technologies.
- Experience working in a close-knit, collaborative IT team.
