About the Role
We are seeking a highly analytical and client-focused Analyst to join a leading reinsurance broker in London. This is an exciting opportunity to work on large retrocession accounts valued between $1M–$5M, supporting major global clients and collaborating closely with brokers in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
You will play a key role in data preparation, pricing analysis, and tool development, while also having the chance to attend client meetings internationally (e.g., Bermuda, Paris, New York). This position offers exposure to senior stakeholders and the ability to see projects end-to-end.

You will play a key role in data preparation, pricing analysis, and tool development, while also having the chance to attend client meetings internationally (e.g., Bermuda, Paris, New York). This position offers exposure to senior stakeholders and the ability to see projects end-to-end.
- Prepare and structure Excess of Loss property retro layers using in-house systems.
- Calculate pricing metrics and deliver analytical outputs for renewals.
- Present data insights to brokers and clients, including international meetings.
- Design and build self-service analytical tools for benchmarking and insights.
- Collaborate with data engineering colleagues to deliver robust solutions.
- Support production of biannual market reports and ensure data accuracy.
- Experience working in the London Insurance Market (essential).
- Strong analytical and programming skills (Python, SQL, Power BI).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex data.
- Familiarity with cloud data platforms such as Databricks or similar technologies is beneficial but not essential.
- Self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset; comfortable in an unstructured environment.
- Background in Mathematics, Computer Science, or similar quantitative discipline.
- Knowledge of property retrocession or reinsurance is advantageous.
