Overview
Our client, a well-established wealth management and private banking business, is hiring an Account Manager to support and grow relationships across its Referred Business, Independent Financial Adviser (IFA), and Staff Account client segments.
This is a client-facing role focused on the day-to-day servicing and administration of private clients, delivering consistently high service standards while operating in a regulatory-compliant and commercially minded way. You’ll manage a portfolio of relationships, collaborating closely with internal relationship managers and external advisers to ensure an excellent end-client experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, internal relationship managers, and external advisers/IFAs (where applicable)
- Handle day-to-day client correspondence and requests, ensuring timely, accurate responses
- Manage multiple priorities effectively, balancing immediate tasks with longer-term projects
- Support cash management activities for client accounts
- Execute and oversee settlement of client orders (e.g., FX, cash, equities, fixed income)
- Prepare for and (where required) attend client meetings
- Manage end-to-end account opening/onboarding, including collection and completion of KYC/AML documentation
- Support event-driven and periodic client reviews
- Prepare credit requests and assist with the administration of credit facilities
- Liaise with other branches/offices as required to support referred accounts
- Maintain accurate client records and keep stakeholders updated, delegating actions where appropriate
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, suggesting and implementing enhancements
- Ensure all activity is completed in line with internal policies, procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements

Skills & Experience Required
- Experience in wealth management/private banking or another client-facing role within financial services
- Strong understanding of private client products and servicing expectations
- Demonstrable experience supporting client onboarding, KYC/AML, and ongoing reviews
- Familiarity with order execution support and/or settlement processes (FX/cash/securities)
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage parallel tasks under pressure
- Confident communicator (written and verbal); additional languages are beneficial
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Qualifications
- Degree educated (commercial, finance, banking or similar discipline preferred)
